The IAAF is seeking a temporary assistant for our Medical Department (Whereabouts Sector) for a one year contract. Responsibilities include: Elaboration of the IAAF Registered Testing Pool (RTP) in cooperation with the OOC Testing Manager (between 500-600 athletes); Ensuring the collection of whereabouts information from all the athletes in the RTP (notifications, reminders, acknowledgements of receipts...); Review, evaluation and follow-up of all incoming whereabouts information and subsequent updates submitted; Recording of complete whereabouts information into ADAMS (Anti-Doping Administration Database); Creation and maintenance of the individual folders for each athlete on the RTP; Advising athletes, athletes’ support personnel and Federations on all issues related to whereabouts filing

Olympic Park Legacy Company
Venue Naming Rights
The Olympic Park Legacy Company has launched a formal process to appoint sponsors for the Stadium, the Aquatics Centre and the Multi-Use Arena.
Organisations have the unique opportunity to associate their brands with some of the most iconic sporting and entertainment venues in the country, through naming rights and other sponsorship deals.
The Stadium will host the 2017 World Athletics Championships, while the Aquatics Centre and the Multi-Use Arena are expected to serve over a million visitors a year when they re-open after the Games. They will be among an anticipated 9.3m visitors a year to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park from 2016.
Parties have until 2 March 2012 to register their interest, before being invited to submit a proposal. The Legacy Company aims to appoint sponsors in May 20.

Official Games security provider G4S opened the doors of its new London 2012 Recruitment Center today as it launched the biggest paid recruitment drive this century.
The world’s leading security solutions company will recruit around 10,000 security staff to work at the Olympics this summer. G4S employees will carry out a variety of tasks including bag and vehicle searching.

World Fit Walk 2012
The World Fit mission is to promote a culture of health and fitness for children. World Fit strives to eradicate both childhood obesity and the enormous toll obesity has taken on families, society and healthcare systems.
Through Olympian and Paralympian participation, World Fit pairs these mentors with schools to inspire their students about the importance of health, fitness and Olympic values of perseverance, respect and fair play. The World Fit Walk is the heart of the World Fit program. Each year, the Walk begins on the Monday following Spring break and continues for the following six weeks. Daily, students who participate in the World Fit Walk will log their miles via the website, www.worldfit.org.

U.S. Archery
"Shooting for Gold"
USA Archery kicks off one of its most important initiatives, called "Shooting for Gold:" an effort to raise funds to support the team and the organization in the lead-up to the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Hoping to capitalize on the excitement of 2012, USA Archery has launched a peer donation engine, which is a secure online portal that will allow people to raise funds for USA Archery, or make a one-time donation to the organization.

As the Presenting Partner of the Film Nation: Shorts programme, Panasonic UK Limited will be working with LOCOG, the UK Film Council and its partners, to provide UK-wide film making workshops for young people. Shorts workshops will cover everything from camera skills to how to develop a story through to direction and how to successfully work with actors. Through the sessions and online resources Film Nation: Shorts intends to encourage the making of over 2,000 fi lms celebrating sport, participation, achievement and excellence in the spirit of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The competitions will begin in March 2010 culminating in special award ceremonies each year.
