(PRWEB UK) 28 February 2012

Assess Improve Measure Ltd. (formed by AIM Professional services Ltd and Peoplewwware Ltd.) has launched SRP v3.0 to include the proven enhancements developed over the last twelve months. SRP is a principle based programme which assists companies to develop an ‘open’ culture facilitating leadership, innovation, teamwork and continuous improvement. The main part of the programme affected is in the area of engaging Human Capital Management with the framework for applying Lean methodologies to companies that are outside of the “traditional” automotive and aerospace arenas. The changes are specifically designed to capture even more competitive advantage during this time of recession.

John Sanders – Director of Assess Improve Measure Ltd said “During a period of recession the natural tendency for companies is to downsize, when actually in many cases the best course of action is to seize the opportunity and invest more heavily in your human capital. The two key elements that are making the difference are trust and innovation. The terrible truth is that for many, the soft option is to reduce staffing levels rather than change an ineffective culture. Changing the internal culture of a business is a tough proposition, and companies attempting it need all the help they can get. SRP v3.0 is a self-validating programme for culture change and vastly improves the chances of success.”

Glyn Jenks, operations director, with 22 years’ experience in delivering Lean principles said “Lean is an indispensable methodology for cutting waste and controlling processes. But during a recession, on its own, it simply isn’t enough. Only by blending the principles of lean into a new culture of employee engagement, innovation and continuous improvement can companies truly increase their competitive advantage.”
