“Our teams are evaluating all potential prospects, legislative elements and business connectivity to increase our presence in the region’s emerging markets,” said Mr Amit Sinha Roy, Vice-President, Strategy & Marketing for Global Enterprise Solutions Business, Tata Communications.

The company has established presence in major Asian cities from Karachi to Auckland, and is now looking at emerging markets in China, Indonesia, Thailand, The Philippines and Vietnam, Mr Roy told PTI at the ongoing Communications Asia 2012 exhibition here.

Tata Global Network cable at present connects businesses operating out of Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Shenzhen.

“But there is a tremendous scope of expanding footprint in China,” Mr Roy said, underlining the huge investments being made in China-based businesses and manufacturing sectors.

China offers most opportunities for business growth, according to a recent independent study on emerging markets, which surveyed 1,600 global business leaders, Tata Comm said in a release.

In Vietnam, Tata Communications aims to increase its global connectivity with other business cities, having already linked up Ho Chi Minh City and Vung Tao.

The Singapore-based Tata Communications will also increase its link beyond the present connectivity with businesses based in Jakarta and Bangkok.

This expansion would provide further double-digit growth for Tata Comm’s Global Enterprise Solution Business, which has been recording double-digit annual growth in recent years.

Mr Roy said Tata Comm would continue to pursue similar business growth strategy across its global network, and going forward it sees a similar business development focus on Africa.

The company had earlier this month launched global low latency network to connect major financial capitals in Asia, the United Kingdom and the United States.

The low latency network offers a multi-point Ethernet platform to the financial services sector and other global industries, accelerating global high frequency trading.

Tata Comm also has a multi-year technology service and marketing agreement with Formula One Management.

“Our teams are ready for respective race sites to cover the F1 races and provide services for web hosting and content delivery network,” he said.

Professional, customized proposals can be easily packaged with pre-printed sales materials giving advisors the ability to provide plan sponsors with a highly competitive package.  RetireToolKit Desktop Report Generator -- allows advisors to efficiently prepare and print professional looking quarterly and annual plan reviews for meetings with plan sponsors.

"The expansion of our service offering provides all the tools needed to help retirement plan providers comply and win in this evolving environment," said John Moody, President, Matrix. "With new fee disclosure regulations in place and fiduciary standards under review, increased visibility from an open architecture process, at both the firm and advisor level, is being viewed as the solution to help them gain new business and comply with new regulatory changes."

Level compensation, specifically, was created to provide certainty that the pay structure for investments would be level, regardless of the investment chosen by a plan sponsor or any of its participants. Prior to introduction of this service by Matrix, firms were typically restricted in their choice of investments with level compensation plans. This new service offered by Matrix offers a level payout and access to thousands of funds, and provides broker/dealers with a powerful competitive advantage.

The report explores future marketing and technological trends in seven countries; provides market share estimates, test volume forecasts, and instrument placements; compares features of major clinical and research flow cytometers; profiles competitors and emerging market entrants; and suggests specific product and marketing opportunities for flow cytometry instruments and reagents.

Rationale

During the next five years, continued advances in molecular diagnostics, monoclonal antibodies, lasers and IT, as well as growing understanding of immunologic forces regulating systemic diseases, will have a profound impact on the flow cytometry markets worldwide. New molecular diagnostic and monoclonal antibody tests will facilitate existing procedures and provide basis for sensitive, specific and simple assays. The introduction of smaller and easy-to-operate laser systems will further expand applications of flow cytometry to routine clinical laboratories. Further advances in IT will reduce the cost of instrument manufacture, service warranty, and permit development of self-troubleshooting, autocalibration and other advanced features. Presently tedious analyses of chromosomal abnormalities, DNA content, and lymphocyte subsets will become more automated and routine.
