Blue Ridge Parkway announces concession opportunities

ASHEVILLE — The National Park Service has issued two prospectuses for concessions business opportunities along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The first is for offers for a 10-year concession contract to provide lodging, food and beverage, retail and other services at Peaks of Otter, Rocky Knob, and Doughton Park within the parkway.

The second is for offers to provide craft sales and limited food and beverage services at the Folk Art Center within the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The prospectuses describe the business opportunities and include the terms and conditions of the concession contracts. Both prospectuses are available on the NPS website at http://concessions.nps.gov/prospectuses.htm.
