• Planning for Business Accounting and Taxes, a Rochester SCORE-sponsored class, is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Room 319 in the Northrop Community Education Center, 201 Eighth St. N.W. Certified Public Accountant Diane Lund will discuss basic accounting principles and concepts, financial statements, business income tax forms, sales and employment tax forms, and the guiding principles in the world of business.The fee is $20 per person. • A special roundtable discussion for area manufacturing businesses will run from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Doubletree hotel at 150 S. Broadway. Enterprise Minnesota, the state manufacturing organization, will present its annual State of Manufacturing report. The event is free for manufacturers, though pre-registration is required.
