The Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce launches its new Business Spotlight luncheon series this week. The lunch program will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the chamber office, 218 E. Grand River Ave. in Brighton.
The bimonthly program will afford area businesses an opportunity to give a presentation about their operation and provide a light lunch for attendees. This week's luncheon will highlight Dr. Robert Burns of The Doctors of Physical Therapy.
There is no cost to attend the event.

The Whitmore Lake Chamber of Commerce will hold a speed-networking luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Whitmore Lake Tavern, 9839 Main St. in Northfield Township.

Visitors can learn about energy-efficiency programs for businesses and homeowners at the next Howell Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation luncheon program. The event takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the chamber, 123 E. Washington St. in Howell.
Consumers Energy representatives David Pietryla and Amy Glapinski will present information on energy-efficiency rebates; savings opportunities for compact fluorescent lighting; details about the Energy Star program; and incentives that can reduce energy use and deliver savings for commercial and residential customers.
The cost to attend is $20 and includes lunch and workshop materials.

The Hartland Area Chamber of Commerce partners with the Highland-White Lake Business Association for a networking event from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at 59 West, 786 W. Highland Road in Highland Township.
Members pay $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Cost for nonmembers is $15. The cost includes hors d'ouevres.
